LS 7-WL VH-GDQ This Standard Class sailplane first flew in 1987, and uses a modified LS-6 fuselage. It is fitted with a tail ballast tank for trimming purposes.

The 'WL' is the last model of the LS-7 series and features the upturned wing tip style winglets that would later be used on the LS8.
