Directions

The Bacchus Marsh aerodrome is a 45 minute drive from Melbourne along the Western Highway.

It is situated on the Bacchus Marsh - Geelong Road, about 8 kilometres south of the Bacchus Marsh township. Bacchus Marsh is some 50 kilometres west of Melbourne, just off the Western Highway.

Operating Hours

Weekends 10.00 am - 6.00 pm (daylight hours).

Flying on other days (including Public Holidays) is by arrangement (0402 281 928).

During summer month we often operate on Fridays (weather permitting).

Amenities

Toilets are available at the clubhouse.

Parking is available outside the clubhouse and next to the launch points.

Airfield Conditions of Entry

  • Due to liability issues, dogs must be on a lead at all times.
  • Photography is permitted on the airfield, however stay off the runways at all times.
  • Children must be accompanied by adults.
  • Vehicles must use the roadways. You must not drive on runways or across the grass areas.
  • The speed limit is 20 KPH on all airfield roadways.
